Le More Nere red wine - Super Tuscan

Le More Nere TOSCANA IGT
This Super Tuscan is a 100% Merlot from selected grapes. The grapes from this vineyard are selected during the green harvest, between June and July. In this phase the excess bunches are eliminated, thus arriving at the end of August – early September with two to three bunches per plant. Thanks to a careful selection, the grapes that get to the ripening phase will have a greater structure and body, perfect for aging in wood, due to the higher sugar index present in each grape.
This mono-variety is aged for about eighteen months in oak barrils, both barriques and tonneax. To enhace the quality of this variety, French oak of first passage has been used. During this period of time the wine get tested once every two months, both on the organoleptic level and with lab tests.
After another ten months minimum of bottle aging, the wine is ready to be drank. It gives opening aromas of red fruit and mixed berries: cherries, bluebarries and backberries. Vanilla, coffee and sweet spicies can be tasted at the end. Warm and elegant, its tannins are soft and pleasent. Structured and persistent wine with an intense and deep red color.
Paring this wine with food:
Terre del Bruno Le More IGT is to be stored orizontally and served at a temperature of 18-20°C. This Super Tuscan wine with its aromas and texture goes really well all year around with a great variety of food. The classic pairings are with grilled and roasted meat, Fiorentina steak and pasta dishes. For surprising matches, we suggest to pair the Le More Nere with chocolate beef stew, it will blow your mind!
