They say about us: the Sangiovese component of this wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, while the Cabernet component sequesters in American oak barriques. It has aromas of cherry and red hedgerow berries, joined by scents of spice, vanilla, cream and coffee. The palate is textured with some grippy tannins, and displays lovely freshness which balances the concentration of red fruits. The cherry bite and silky character of the Sangiovese works really well with the dark-fruited Cabernet and its tannic structure here, creating a delicious blend that should be great with a wide variety of cuisine.
