The values

Making wine in the Chianti area means taking care of a tradition that has be going on for generations, as well as being part of a something that people who lived before us have written over the centuries. It means having respect for all this and at the same time plannig ahead to write the future.

Being heirs of the wine-making tradition means being prepared to work hard, it means working every day with passion and dedication side by side with the nature, respecting its unpredictability as much as its generosity.

It means having respect for the time: time that marks the vegetative cycle of the vine as well as all the stages of wine production.

Making wine means to be aware of the time of waiting, so that a fruit of mother earth, together with a man;s expert hand, can become the extraordinary product that is wine.

Producing wine in our winery means carrying on a profession that began here long before we were born, in these same vineyards, which we still call by their name, given to them hundreds of years ago. Bruno and his brother, together with other families, worked side by side with perseverance and dedication, reaping the fruits of these fertile lands long before us.

Carrying on the wine tradition is the celebration of a lifestyle that we have come to love thanks to Bruno. Every moment spent here with him, the simple breakfasts, the afternoons in front of the fireplace, the family gathered around the table for Sunday lunch, the flask of wine, the first glasses of Sangiovese.
